Anatolian Rover Challenge

July 2025

Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) is an international rover competition for university teams, the first of which has been held at İstanbul Technical University in 2022. In July 2023 and 2024, the second and third ARC has been held at the Middle East Technical University campus.

The goal of the competition is to bring together rover enthusiast teams from all around the world! It is organized by the Space Exploration Society (UKET). The narrated Moon and Mars missions are what make Anatolian Rover Challenge distinguishable from others.

INTERNATIONAL ROVER
DESIGN CHALLENGE

March-May 2025

The World Rover League (WRL) is the first-of-its-kind global space robotics league for university students organized by SPROS and UKET in which teams conceptualize, design, develop, and operate an astronaut-assistive next-generation planetary rover in simulated conditions. The WRL season runs from March to January, with teams competing in three competitions: International Rover Design Challenge, Anatolian Rover Challenge, and International Rover Challenge. The rover team which scores maximum ranking points during the current season of 2023-2024 will be crowned as the champion at the International Rover Challenge (IRC) 2024.

ARC Junior

July 2025

This competition, open to participants of all ages and nationalities, invites you to design and build a small desktop rover that can tackle various challenges in different difficulty scenarios. The competition is designed to be held on 3 different days and in 3 different categories. To qualify for the competition, submit a photo of your rover to us via the website. If you are selected as a finalist, we will eagerly await your arrival at the competition site. Our judges will observe and score your rover's performance during the competition, and at the end of the day, prizes will be awarded to the top teams.
