ITU Rover Team was established in 2016 under the ITU Robotics Club. The team founders have won several awards in other robotics competitions within this club before the establishment. After they decided to represent Turkey in international competitions and achieve something that has yet to be done in Turkey, they founded the ITU Rover Team. The team has developed eight different rover vehicles since 2016. ITU Rover Team successfully maintains its achievements both technically and organizationally with the sustainable accumulation of knowledge in 8 years. ITU Rover Team has several international awards which are "The Best Science System Award" from URC 2018; "The Maintenance Task Special Award" and "The Best 2nd Team Award" from ERC 2021; "The Presentation Task Special Award" and "The Best 3rd Team Award" from ERC 2022. As ITU Rover Team we are eager to achieve new successes with Anatolian Rover Challenge.

The terrors, the joys, and the sense of accomplishment are epitomized in the
space program, with this vision and desire for innovation a group of undergraduate students
from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) founded The Team Interplanetar in 2011 and started designing rovers for international competitions. Our goal is to
build, design, and discover the potential of a world-class Mars Rover, which will provide a continuous flow of scientific information and perform different operations on the rough Martian terrain. From NASA Lunabotics Competition - 2013 to European Rover Challenge (ERC) – 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023; University Rover Challenge (URC)- 2016, 2021, 2022, and 2023; Indian Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) - 2020 and 2023, and IPAS-2021-it’s been almost a decade since Team Interplanetar has been actively participating in worldwide space- robotic competitions.

SKA Robotics is a part of Students' Space Association which was established in 1996 on the initiative of prof. Piotr Wolański. Our first rover (Skarabeusz) was constructed for the 2010 University Rover Challenge, in which we took part several times afterwards. Underwater vehicles and drones were also constructed. We took part in all European Rover Challenge finals since its establishment in 2014 with various rovers. Since 2020 we are working on Sirius II - our newest rover which took part in Anatolian Rover Challenge in 2022 and now the team is looking forward to attending 2024 ARC edition!

MIST Mongol Barota, a robotics team formed in 2013, has an impressive track record of achievements in various prestigious robotics competitions. In 2014 for the first time from MIST, the team with a rover named “Mongol Barota” participated in URC 2014 and placed 12th position worldwide. In 2015 the team participated in URC 2015 again and placed 9th position globally and was nominated the Best Team from Asia.
In 2016 the team with their rover “Explorer-0100” participated in European Rover Challenge (ERC) 2016 and placed 21th position globally. In 2021 the team with their rover named “PHOENIX” participated in URC 2021 virtual Final and placed 1st position globally and was achieved the Champion title of URC 2021.
In 2022, the team scored 92.85% marks in SAR which is the highest among all teams of Bangladesh and was selected for the Final Round of URC 2022. The subsequent year, in URC 2023, they yet again qualified for the final with the highest score, further cementing their status as a force to be reckoned with.
Notably, in ARC (Anatolian Rover Challenge) 2022, MIST Mongol Barota secured an impressive 3rd position after participating in the competition for the first time, a remarkable achievement for a newcomer. Most recently, in ARC 2023, they achieved the 5th position globally, demonstrating their consistent performance and ability to excel in various arenas. Recently this team scored highest in SAR score in URC 2024 among the Bangladeshi teams.

Yıldız Rover is an interdisciplinary robotics team gathered under SPARK Club at Yildiz Technical University. Our team was established in 2018. The team’s academic advisor is Özlem Emanet, Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Our team consists of 31 members from 16 different engineering, basic science, and social science departments. Yıldız Rover team consists of 7 sub-teams supervised by the team leader, the technical team leader, and the business team leader.

The team consists of 17 students from two faculties of our University - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as Faculty of Environmental Engineering. Our team was founded in 2014, joining forces in mechanical design, electronics, project management, software development, biology and artificial intelligence. Throughout 10 years, we have participated in almost all rover’s challenges, including URC and ERC. Our team’s biggest achievement is 1st place in University Rover Challenge 2018 in the USA. Other notable achievements include: 3rd place at URC 2017, 4th place at URC 2019, 4th place at ERC 2015, 6th place at URC 2015, 6th place at ERC 2014, 10th place at URC 2016, 10th place at URC 2014, 11th place at ERC 2016, 11th place at URC 2022, 11th place at URC 2023 (including 3rd place in Science Mission). The team shares many presentations for students and participates in scientific events, gathering science enthusiasts from all around the country. The current rover, Modernity 3+, was first introduced in 2019. It is the 7th vehicle designed by our team. Previous ones are Modernity 2+, Modernity 2, Modernity, Infinity 3, Infinity 2, Infinity 1. This year in autumn, a completely new rover is going to be revealed, along with its own drone aircraft.

Our science club is composed of 64 people from various departments The club was founded in 2011 and we are constantly taking part in international competitions, where some of the greatest achievements of the team is taking 1st place at the URC competition in 2015 and 2016 in recent years we have taken 6th place in 2022 at the IRDC competition.

GTU Rover Team was established in May 2020 to develop a specially designed Rover for space and earth exploration. The team consists of members from different disciplines and consists of forty-five people studying in five different faculties and seventeen different departments. These members form the dynamic structure of the team and are united around a common goal.
The team aims to develop a rover that studies its environment, analyzes natural resources, makes measurements and collects valuable information. It also aims to bring together young talents in the field of space, science and technology and successfully represent Turkey on international platforms.
In the first year of its establishment, the team participated in both the remote and on-site competitions of ERC (European Rover Challenge) and came 6th and 11th respectively. In the second year, the team qualified for URC (University Rover Challenge), ARC (Anatolian Rover Challenge) and ERC's remote competitions. In the third year, the team competed as a finalist in URC and achieved a significant success as a finalist in ERC. The team also received a special jury award in the ARC competition and improved its ranking from 7th to 4th place.

We are Team Anveshak, the Mars rover team of IIT Madras. Comprising enthusiastic and passionate students across all engineering disciplines, we innovate cutting-edge technology in the space robotics domain.

Building upon our rich legacy in various international competitions - IRC, IRDC, ARC, and URC. We’ve raised the bar even further this year by securing second place in our latest competition, International Rover Challenge 2024, where we were also given the exclusive tag of ‘Autonomous Masters’ sweeping away all competition in the category.
Our unwavering dedication to novel and cost-effective solutions has led to several unique implementations, such as cascading YOLO and CV tools for object identification and recognition, extensive localization using SLAM alongside Haversine formula to reduce dependency on GPS that may be erroneous, use of extended Kalman filter to get visual odometry feed, 3D printed planetary-cycloidal gearbox which achieves high reduction ratios at an exceptional efficiency, a custom 3D printed spectrometer, which helps in biological analysis that is relatively cheaper than commercial solutions.

Student’s Association OFF-ROAD has been founded in 2009, but we are more commonly known as Project Scorpio, which is the name of our main project. During that time, we have been working on projects such as Project Eagle (Martian lander) and Twardovsky Colony (Martian colony), but mostly we focus on Martian rovers. Up to this point, we have constructed 8 rovers, with Scorpio Infinity being the latest. As one of best-known associations in Poland, we are a part of dozens of events every year, including international competitions, such as Australian Rover Challenge, Anatolian Rover Challenge and University Rover Challenge.
Last year, we competed with our previous rover and successfully won the challenge. Therefore, we are hoping to prove ourselves with our new rover during variety of missions.

OzU Rover was founded in November 2014 by undergraduate students from different fields as a research and development project under the supervision of Dr. Özkan Bebek. This year marks our 10th year anniversary, similar to ERC! Every year since 2014, the team has been actively working to develop a new and more performant rover. The team's mission expands to inspire future generations, participate in engineering competitions to gain valuable insights, and provide a stimulating learning environment. The team's vision is to enhance enthusiasm for space robotics and promote interest in the field within Türkiye. OzU Rover Team competed in the last 9 ERC (on-site and 1 remote due to COVID) and URC competitions in 2020,2021,2022 and 2023. Team won a spot to participate in finals in each one of the URC competitions and competed in 2023 on-site, due to COVID and visa issues team couldn’t compete on-site in 2020,2021 and 2022. The team consists of undergraduate students from different departments of Ozyegin University who are passionate about robotics.

Project Kratos was established on 12th May, 2018 by a group of students from various academic disciplines. The project has participated in the Indian Rover Challenge 2020, the International Mars Hackathon (IMH) conducted by MSSA,International Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) 2021 and URC 2022. At the​

International Rover Challenge 2020, Project Kratos had qualified top among the new teams and has also won the overall excellence award in the 2023 edition of the same competition.​

In the University Rover Challenge (URC 2022) which takes place annually at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah USA, the team placed 1st in India, 2nd in Asia, and 20th globally. ​

In the Anatolian Rover Challenge’22 (ARC) which was held in Istanbul, Turkey. The team secured 2nd place overall and missed out on 1st position only by a difference of 2 points. The team was also awarded the best ‘Autonomous and Controls Vertical’ and the best ‘Science Vertical’.​

IZTECH Cengaver Rover is a student based robotics team at İzmir Institute of Technology. The team consists of 35 members from 3 faculties and 15 different departments. The team has founded for to create a place for students to improve their technical and theoretical skills on real life situations. For this purpose, since the foundation at 2022, the team itself training new members while preparing for international rover competitions. Throughout team’s 2 years of experience, team achieved to selected for the finals in Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC23’), with a small budget and with 9 members. After the competition, team found new sponsorships and create a new model design for 2024 competitions. Team applied for University Rover Challenge 2024, and passed the Preliminary Design Review, but final version of the rover could not be produced and not provided the video materials at the due date of System Acceptance Review. Even though the team has failed on getting ready for the URC24’, team has applied to Anatolian Rover Challenge, European Rover Challange, and TEKNOFEST Agricultural Unmanned Land Vehicle Competition.

Embarking on our journey of innovation and excellence, we, Technocrats Robotics, emerged as the pioneering robotics team from the esteemed Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. Established in 2013, our team has been at the forefront of robotics competitions, showcasing our technical prowess and collaborative spirit. The year 2018 marked a significant milestone as we ventured into rover-based contests, making a remarkable debut at the International Rover Challenge (formerly known as Indian Rover Challenge). Competing against over 150 teams globally, we achieved an impressive 5th place on the international stage.
But our success didn't stop there. We soared to new heights at the International Planetary Aerial Systems Challenge (IPASC), securing a commendable 3rd place internationally. Our portfolio of achievements is diverse, including participation in the International Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) and the prestigious University Rover Challenge (URC). Technocrats Robotics is not just a team; it's a testament to our relentless pursuit of pushing boundaries in the realm of robotics.

We were founded in 2015, Team Vyadh embarked on a journey marked by innovation and excellence in various international competitions. With over 8 years of experience, their inaugural appearance in CanSAT in 2015 placed them at rank 38. Subsequent years saw remarkable progress, including a notable rank 2 in Asia at ERC in 2016 and a commendable rank 2 in AIAA UG Engine Design alongside rank 3 in CanSAT in 2017. Continuing their upward trajectory, they secured rank 2 in Asia at ERC in 2018. In 2020, they made their mark globally, placing amongst the top 33 teams at URC. The following years witnessed further success, with notable rankings including 9th worldwide at IRDC in 2021, 13th globally at IRDC in 2023, and 19th internationally at IRC in 2024, showcasing their consistent performance and competitiveness on the international stage.
